There are many studies to examine the facilitation effect of the perceptual cues on the Target discrimination. Mondor, Zattore, &Terrio(1998) explained the facilitation effect by the Attentional Template Model(AET). But, Spence & Driver(1994) suggested the importance of Subject's attention. They showed the facilitation effect of the location of cues on the Target discrimination in Endogenous condition. But in Exogenous condition, they have found no effect. In our study, three experiments were conducted to examine the facilitation effect of frequency of the tone on the Target discrimination. In the results, we also found facilitation effect in Endogenous condition and no facilitation in exogenous condition. It needs to consider subject's attention to explain the facilitation effect of perceptual cue on the Target discrimination.
