Consumer groups call for mandatory Nutri-Score after study shows label boosts reformulation

The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) and its French member UFC-Que Choisir are calling for the Nutri-Score front-of-pack (FOP) nutrition label to be made mandatory in France and the rest of the EU after a study showed the colour coded labelling system had pushed the food industry to reformulate many products.
