Brazilian state-led oil company Petrobras registered a 7.6% year on year slide in refined product sales in the third quarter related to the sale of a refinery in 2021, but the company registered strong growth from Q2 amid a broad retreat in diesel and gasoline prices, according to the company’s latest production and sales report. Petrobras sold 1.798 million b/d of refined products in Q3, down from 1.946 million b/d in the year-ago quarter, it said Oct. 24. Sales in Q3, however, jumped 4.7% from 1.717 million b/d in Q2.
