The photograph above shows a Circlorama camera rig being fitted to specially erected staging on a conflat rail wagon, in preparation for a 'special run' from Waterloo to Wimbledon to film the northern approaches to Clapham Junction. The image comes from the photographic collection of Evershed & Vigholes Ltd (E&V), which is held in the IET Archives. E&V had this and other photos related to Circlorama because it made the synchronous motor that kept the 11 cameras in the rig 'in sync' during film shooting.
