Silicon metal prices rise in EU and China despite global downtrend

Spot market activity is still sporadic on both sides of the Atlantic. Prices in the USA declined by 4.9 in October amid limited trading. In contrast, EU spot prices climbed m/m, albeit from a low base. Average Chinese prices were also assessed higher m/m despite recent declines in the domestic market.
