摘要

This paper proposes an algorithm for simultaneous determination of LPC analysis and frame partitioning. Short-term characteristic of speech signal can vary dynamically. Accordingly, appropriate analysis order and frame length should depend on each portion of speech signal to be analyzed. We derive a computationally efficient algorithm based on DP, in which frame partioning and LPC analysis order for each frame are jointly optimized through the MDL criterion. We discuss the utility of the proposed algorithm showing results of natural speech analysis.
