A little-known Dubai-based logistics company is reportedly looking to buy Shell’s 50% stake in the 125,000 b/d Salym Petroleum Development (SPD) producing company in West Siberia Shell earlier announced plans to withdraw from its Russian assets, including its stake in the SPD where it is partnered with Gazprom Neft as well as in the Sakhalin-2 project.
