Odor sensing system for early fire detection using metal oxide gas sensors and its application to utility robot

摘要

Odor sensing system for early fire detection is developed and considered. The proposed system is constructed by using commercial metal oxide gas sensors as odor sensors. The gas sensors of two types are used. The one has wide sensitivity for various odors, and the other has high selectivity for hydrogen. This odor sensing system is implemented and used in commercial robot.
