Oldest Chipmunk flyer returns to UK

The oldest airworthy de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk in the world, G-AKDN, arrived back in the UK from Canada in early February. At the time of writing, it was being reassembled at Bagby airfield, near Thirsk in North Yorkshire, by engineer Graham Fox. The machine was previously operated by Dave Gillespie and James Brook of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
