A Shear horizontal surface acoustic wave (SH-SAW) sensor can detect liquid electrical properties, such as conductivity and permittivity, and mechanical properties, such as density and viscosity. Therefore, it is important to develop practical Sit-SAW sensing system. An oscillation circuit with the Sit-SAW sensor is one method. However it has problems with measurement results. In this paper, we report a novel SAW liquid sensing system with the SAW signal generator.
