This is the season of reports and in the last few weeks many aluminium companies too have published their half-year figures. Regardless of whether they are smelters or semis manufacturers - almost across the board substantial growth in revenue and operative results are being posted. This is due on the one hand to considerable aluminium price increases over the past several months and high premiums, and on the other hand to much greater demand for aluminium products.
