Chevron and unions have reached an agreement to resolve the ongoing dispute at the Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG facilities in Western Australia (WA), which could tame some of the recent LNG market price volatility - assuming the agreement is finalized. Production at Gorgon and Wheatstone represents about 6.5% of the world’s LNG supply. The plants have a combined nameplate capacity of 24.5 million tons per year.
