摘要

The activity of the extracellular polysaccharide-degrading enzymes ixylanase and cellulase was measured in fungal culture filtrates using dye-labelled substrates. There were significant differences in enzyme activity between the D. teres [Pyrenophora teres] isolates tested. The enzyme activity correlated strongly with the aggressiveness of the fungal isolates. Using random primers, a characteristic amplification pattern was obtained by RAPD analysis enabling the identification of P. teres and differentiation of the isolates regarding their pathogenic forms, i.e. net-type and spot-type. Specific DNA patterns of P. teres isolates were obtained using the simple repeat (GATA)4. The size of the amplified DNA fragments ranged from 0.5 to 3.0 kbp. Thesemethods do not allow differentiation between monoconidial lines of 1 isolate.
