Bayer/USAID expand partnership in Ukraine with fund infusion

Bayer and US government agency the US Agency for International Development(USAID)plan to expand their bilateral partnership in Ukraine through an additional investment of $15.5 million from the former.The collaboration is conducted under the framework of USAID’s Agriculture Resilience Initiative for Ukraine(AGRI-Ukraine).The funds will be used to increase access to innovative technologies,says Bayer,alongside launching initiatives to provide farmers access to seeds and conducting a project to strengthen the safety of agricultural workers from mines and”other unexploded ordnance on Ukrainian soil”.
