The Neurology and Neurosurgery Interest Group (NANSIG) has been organising career conferences for health professionals in training in the UK and Ireland since 2011. NANSIG has become a trusted source of information for trainees across the world, as we have a wealth of feedback from past attendees to guide our events. Our tenth annual conference (held online on Jan 30, 2021) attracted 227 delegates from 26 countries, which was substantially more people than attended previous conferences in person (ie, 79-123 delegates in 2018-20). This event was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which regrettably reduced opportunities for personal interaction and hands-on demonstration but fortunately increased accessibility; reduced logistical costs, allowing a free event; and facilitated international participation.
