Tailoring a Creative Path

Tn 1998, Susan Igou, owner of the Bernina Dealership and Studio Bernina in Boulder, Colo., took the helm of the Custom Tailors & Designers Association (CTDA), where she was the first female president of the nation's oldest trade organization. Today she is leading the next generation of garment sewers and clothiers through new CTDA courses and her own unique tailoring classes in Boul- der.
