TC Energy moves forward with large-scale gas projects while reducing emissions

Calgary-based TC Energy Corporation continues to develop long-term natural gas projects even as it works toward achieving net-zero emission from all operations by 2050, the company announced during its Q4 earnings report on Feb. 15. “Today we are advancing $24 billion of commercially secured projects including approximately $6.5 billion that are expected to enter service in 2022,” CEO Francois Poirier said. “These projects will expand and extend our asset footprint across North America and are expected to generate attractive returns for our shareholders in the years ahead.”
