Kazakh exporters cut Makhachkala supplies

Transit shipments of Kazakh crude through the Russian port of Makhachkala on the Caspian Sea are expected to fall this month. Kazakh suppliers are likely to ship 185,000t of crude from Makhachkala to Russia’s Black Sea port of Novorossiysk by pipeline in May, compared with 220,000t during April. Transit shipments of crude along this route are scheduled at 660,000t during the second quarter, so deliveries in June could be higher than they were during April and this month.
