Pipeline diesel exports rise

Gasoil exports through the Transnefteprodukt (TNP) pipeline system rose by 30pc compared with October- December last year to 5.9mn t in the first quarter. Market participants attribute the rise to higher output of the 10ppm sulphur grade, and the fact that exporters boost pipeline shipments in winter to avoid rail congestion at ports. Overall Russian gasoil exports, including heating oil and marine fuel, by rail and pipeline rose by a quarter to 13.4mn t.
