Gazpromneft has exported the first cargo of crude from its Prirazlomnoye field in the Pechora sea,Russia’s first off-shore Arctic project. The firm loaded 70,000t on the Rotterdam-bound ice-class tanker Mikhail Ulyanov on 18 April.Gazpromneft says it will sell the crude—labelled Arco(Arctic oil)Blend— at a slight discount to Urals to a major European energy firm,with market participants naming Total as the buyer.
