Rosneft upgrades Arkhangelsk

Rosneft has boosted product loading capacity at its RN-Arkhangelskneft- eprodukt terminal at the Russian far- north port of Arkhangelsk by convert- ing infrastructure used for crude. By converting the largest of three rail discharge racks, the firm has lifted product loading capacity by 70,000 t/ month to 300,000 t/month. The rack can now discharge 53 clean product railcars at a time - 26 on one side, 27 on the other. Work on the conversion began last year, and one side of the rack has been handling naphtha and diesel since last summer.
