Shipments of Russian Caspian crude through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline are poised to fall in October. Lukoil is to supply just 45,000t from its Korchagin and Filanovsky fields in the Caspian Sea to the trading arm of Azeri Socar, which supplies these volumes through BTC, down from 140,000-145,000 t/month in August-September. Shipments will shrink as the Russian firm starts crude supplies through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) system in October.
