Bunkering firm Baltic Fuel (BTK) is planning to expand its St Petersburg terminal by reclaiming land at the city's Bolshoi port. The firm signed an agreement with federal maritime and river transport agency Rosmorrechflot in April covering the project. BTK is supposed to create an area between berth 67 and berth SV-16M by mid-2018 (see map). This will expand capacity for exports of fuel oil and other products at BTK's Turukhtannye Ostrova terminal.
