Ukraine seeks Urals to restart Druzhba section

Ukrainian crude pipeline operator Ukr- transnafta wants to buy 125,000t (900,000 bl) of Urals for use as “tech- nical crude” to allow mothballed capacity along the Druzhba pipeline to be brought back into operation. Several Russian firms are ready to supply the crude to Ukrtransnafta, including Surgutneftegaz, Bashneft and Rosneft, market participants say, although the companies themselves decline to comment.
