Gunvor sells Ust-Luga stake

Trading company Gunvor has sold a 74pc stake in its Ust- Luga products terminal to Russian businessman Andrey Bokarev for an undisclosed sum. Gunvor will retain a 26pc stake, and continue to control the outlet through the board of directors. “The strong and independent Russian partner will guarantee equal access to loading capacity for all companies operating in Russia’s oil sector,” Gunvor chairman and owner Torbjorn Tornqvist says. Product loadings at the Ust-Luga outlet rose by 4.8pc on the year to 9.88mn t in January-June, according to ports statistics agency Morcentre-TEK.
