Gdansk terminal volumes rise

Oil throughputs at Poland’s Baltic port of Gdansk increased by 11pc in the first quarter compared with a year earlier. The increase was as a result of growing imports of crude and rising products exports from Polish refiners. Gdansk’s Naftoport terminal — the only Polish oil terminal — handled a combined 3.3mn t of crude and products the first quarter (see table). The terminal handles seaborne crude imports for Polish and German refineries, and refined products exports by Polish oil companies.
