Product exports through Tuapse Commercial Sea Port (TCSP) rose by 30pc on the year in January-June to 4.48mn t, with higher output from Rosneft’s 240,000 b/d Tuapse refinery driving the increase. The plant uses TCSP’s berths and two of its own built in 2013. If loadings continue at the first-half rate, TCSP will handle almost 9mn t of products in 2015, up by 2.27mn t on 2014, although this is still less than half of its capacity. The port has no infrastructure to unload crude and products delivered by rail and is entirely dependent on Rosneft, which loads its own supplies and those of other firms through its RN-Tuapsenefteprodukt tankfarm.
