Taman to load clean products

Oteko’s Tamanneftegaz terminal at Russia’s Black Sea port of Taman is expected to start exporting clean products in April 2015. Clean product exports will amount to about 2.5mn t/yr initially, but could rise if required, according to a source close to one of the potential suppliers. By April next year, the terminal hopes to have finished building two pipelines between the tankfarm and the berths, and to have reconfigured clean product discharge operations from rail tankcars. This will ensure that naphtha and gasoil can be discharged separately without any loss of quality.
