Vitol stockpiles gasoil in Murmansk

Vitol started accumulating high-sulphur sulphur gasoil in a storage tanker at the Russian far-north port of Murmansk in November, market participants say. The trading firm has leased the Natali, which can hold up to 140,000t of gasoil. The tanker was placed in the Kola bay in May 2012, and used to build up gasoil cargoes for delivery under Russia’s Northern Territories supply scheme.
