A GROUP OF scholars from developing countries has called for more research into a 'sun-dimming' process in which aerosol particles would be injected into the stratosphere to reflect a fraction of incoming sunlight back into space to help combat global warming. The coalition of academics says developing countries must lead in researching potential solutions to climate change because many could bear the brunt of its worst effects.
