Colombias government and the countrys largest rebel group, Farc, have concluded peace talks in Havana, Cuba, that began in late 2012. An agreement was reached on 24 August. Colombias armed forces and Farc began a definitive ceasefire four days earlier, cementing an arrangement that had reduced rebel attacks on oil pipelines in recent months.
