Qatar to launch central liquids marketer

Qatar is to set up a centralised marketing company for associated liquids from gas projects,fully owned and managed by state-owned QP.Qatari production of condensate is to surge from around 250,000 b/d to 800,000 b/d by 2008 as a spate of gas projects come on stream.The country will outstrip Saudi Arabia as the world's biggest producer.Liquefied petroleum gas output could rise from around 2mn t/yr to 10mn t/yr.
