Declines at Angola's older deepwater fields will offset capacity additions this year, leaving output stagnant. Crude production is expected to remain stable to slightly higher at 1.75mn-1.8mn b/d in 2011, despite the launch of several new projects. The BP-operated PSVM project in block 31 will produce 150,000 b/d from four ultra-deepwater fields. Start-up is this year and peak production will be reached in 2012. And Total will lift block 17 output in the fourth quarter, as it starts up the Pazflor development, adding 220,000 b/d.
