Saudi Arabia has offered buyers in Asia-Pacific, Europe and the US extra crude as it seeks to meet rising market demand in the second half of this year. State-owned Saudi Aramco has asked a number of refin- ers in India, China, South Korea and Japan if they want incremental crude for July loading. Asia-Pacific refiners have been receiving full contracted crude volumes from Saudi Aramco since the second quarter of 2010, but have not been offered additional Saudi crude until now. And some US refiners have been asked if they want additional supplies, while extra supplies of Saudi crude have been available to European refiners for several months.
