Changing Asian demand fails to shift jet overhang

Booming airline demand in China and the Mideast Gulf has failed to counter the impact of contracting demand in the rest of the region. A glut of jet fuel in the Asia-Pacific market is keeping jet-kero-sine values close to their lowest in six years. Singapore jet premiums to Mideast Gulf marker Dubai have been just $9/bl this year, compared with almost $30/bl a year earlier.
