Inventories hit 30-month high

Onshore oil stocks built last month, and offshore inventories are adding to the global stockpile.Reported stocks of crude and products in the US, EU 16 and Japan rose by 24mn bl in April to reach their highest since November 2006. Inventories in the three regions built during the first quarter for the first time in a decade, widening the year-on-year gain in stocks to 160mn bl.
