UK regulator closely follows US debate

UK financial regulator the FSAwill meet banks, oil producers, brokers arid hedge funds to discuss :"market efficiency and transparency" on 5 August. The FSA says the meeting is part of regular engagements with oil industry participants, and unrelated to hearings by US commodities regulator the CFTC on speculative position limits (see above).
