Price forecasts rise

Analysts have raised North Sea crude market forecasts after a summer of record high prices.The latest Argus poll of market analysts shows an average Brent-North Sea Dated price forecast for 2007 of 68.36/bl,up by over 2/bI from the average of 66.15/bl in July's poll(AGM,30 July,p3).But predictions have diverged as analysts'revisions widened the range to 66-70/bl(see table).North Sea Dated crude has averaged just over 67.50/bl so far this year.
