Analysts raise Brent price forecasts

Predictions of the average price of Brent/North Sea Dated crude have risen sharply since Argus last polled analysts in April.Forecasts have converged,and many analysts predict a 2007 average of around 65-67/bl.Almost all fourth-quarter predictions are between 65-70/bl.The latest Argus poll of market analysts shows an average Brent/North Sea Dated price forecast for this year of 66.15/bl,up by more than 3/bl compared with April's average of 62.79/bl(AGM,23 April,p2).
