Transneft will convert most of the Transnefteprodukt (TNP) product pipeline system to handling 10ppm sulphur diesel on 1 January 2015, deputy vice-president Vladimir Nazarov told a press conference in St Petersburg last month. The switch will take several months to implement fully. At the moment, the TNP system mainly supplies 350ppm to key export outlets, with only the Sever — or “North” — line to Primorsk handling 10ppm.
