Gasoil exports surge

Product exports from FSU ports rose month on month as well as year on year in November, reaching 14.1mn t. This represents an increase of 15pc on the month in daily average terms and 24.5pc on the same month last year. Total exports in January-November hit 155.5mn t, up from 137.9mn t in the same period last year. Gasoil exports rose by more than 18pc on the previous month and by 827,000t from a year earlier to 3.79mn t. This partly reflects increased 10ppm sulphur diesel shipments from the port of Primorsk, which handled 964,000t of the product in November, up by 22pc from October. Diesel exports through Primorsk are expected to rise further in December.
