Kuban’s Ilsky refinery in southern Russia’s Krasnodar region plans to connect to Transneft’s pipeline system in February 2017 under a quadripartite agreement signed during 2011. Two pipelines—7.5km and 6.7km long—will link Ilsky with the existing Krymsk-Krasnodar line and the planned Tikhoretsk-Krasnodar line. The agreement also envisages Ilsky being hooked up to the planned Smolens-kaya-Grushovaya product pipeline, part of the planned Yug route,to supply diesel to Novorossiysk’s Sheskharis oil harbour.
