FSU crude exports increased by 1pc on an average daily basis to a record high of 29.5mn t (7mn b/d) in March. Rising Russian exports outside the Transneft pipeline system helped to offset a dip in loadings of Caspian BTC Blend. Exports to non-CIS destinations through Transneft’s system, including transit, rose by 3.4pc to 4.39mn b/d (18.73mn t), the highest since April 2013, when supplies hit 4.41mn b/d. The sharpest increase last month was at Novorossiysk, where loadings jumped by 43pc to 760,000 b/d, after two 140,000t cargoes delayed by storms in February were rolled over to March. And Rosneft upped its Black Sea load- ings by 279,500t to 798,000t, diverting oil from Primorsk and Ust-Luga.
