A number of terminals in the Baltic states are expanding product handling capacity, including Klaipedos Nafta at the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda, and Latvia's Ventall and Pars outlets, at Ventspils and Riga, respectively. Klaipedos Nafta launched a clean product tankfarm expansion project in June, with seven tanks with floating roofs due to be built - three 5,000m~3 tanks and four 1,400m~3 tanks. The expansion is needed to handle an expected rise in supplies from Belarusian refineries and Lithuania's Mazeikiai plant.
