NNK’s 90,000 b/d Khabarovsk refinery started receiving ESPO Blend crude through a spur from the East Siberia- Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline in August. The plant is only expected to receive crude by pipeline from now, with rail supplies ending. The 28km Khabarovsk spur can handle 6mn t/yr. The deal between NNK and Transneft envisages pipeline supplies of 1.6mn t this year, taking 2015’s total supplies to 4.5mn t. Deliveries will rise to 5mn t/yr in 2016-18 and to 6mn t/yr from 2019.
