Product loadings slip at Baltic ports

Product exports — mostly Russian and Belarusian — through ports in the Baltic states fell by 6.7pc from January to 141,800 t/d (3.97mn t) last month. Exports through the Vopak EOS complex at the Estonian port of Tallinn were down most sharply, by 23.2pc to 22,300 t/d (624,500t). But the Alexela Logistics outlet at Estonia’s Paldiski doubled exports to 7,400 t/d (209,000t) after trading firm Trafigura loaded a large volume of gasoline and Russia’s Sibur used the terminal to export pentane. Loadings at the Alexela Sillamae dirty products terminal were unchanged, at 10,300 t/d (289,000t).
