Gasoil exports through the Transnefteprodukt (TNP) pipeline system fell by 5.8pc to 16mn t, excluding combined pipeline and rail supplies, or by 9pc to 17.9mn t including combined supplies (see table). Deliveries to the Bryansk tank farm - from where gasoil is transferred to the rail network for onward shipment to the Latvian port of Ventspils and other Baltic ports, as well as Belarus and Ukraine - were most affected. Exports shrank after Russia imposed an informal ban on deliveries to Belarus over concerns about Belarusian firms re-exporting Russian product. Demand for Russian gasoil in Ukraine fell signifi- cantly because of the re-exports from Belarus, with pipeline exports down by 30pc to 779,000t.
