The EIA is projecting a fall in 2008 US gasoline demand,as the economy heads into potential recession.US GDP will fall in the first half of 2008,and will grow by just 1.2pc for the full year,the EIA said on 8 April."We are projecting a small recession in the first half of the year," administrator Guy Caruso says.Summer gasoline demand will fall for the first time since 1991 to 9.4mn b/d,a 40,000 b/d drop compared with April-September 2007.
