Nymex floor members gain concessions in CME deal

Chicago exchange CME has raised its offer for Nymex, with additional money and benefits for the New York exchange's floor members. CME's final offer document aims to placate Nymex's floor members, some of whom objected to the deal's price tag, which had fallen to 9.4bn under the terms of the previous offer because of a decline in the Nymex stock price (AGM, 31 March, p3).
