US shuns Saharan Blend

Low demand from US refiners for Algerian light sweet crude Saharan Blend is keeping most supplies in the Mediterranean,although Asia-Pacific buyers are taking some cargoes.The US can take up to 570,000 b/d of Algeria's 1.38mn b/d of Saharan Blend production,Cargoes are blended with other crudes to meet specifications for US Gulf light sweet grade LLS.
